What we’re trying to do…

• Provide an easy to use wiki
  
  • to allow researchers to contribute to the wiki and knowledge base
  • with a user-friendly interface and content editor
  • that gives version history and sends email updates of recent changes
  • check back soon for specific tutorials
• Rally the research community to provide up to date gene annotation
  • by adding links to research reviews/papers
  • by updating/correcting GenBank genome information
  • by identifying genes that need correction/clarification
• Provide an opportunity for collaboration and sharing opinions:
  • click the Discussion tab and post in comment section
  • find experts in the particular area you have questions about
  • visit our Forum to find a larger research community
